Is sushi express worth it?
Is Sushi Express worth it? Well, let me tell you, Sushi Express offers excellent value for your money. Unlike other sushi joints like Itacho Sushi and Genki Sushi, Sushi Express is more budget-friendly, with each plate priced at just $1.50++. This means I can indulge in as much sushi as I want without breaking the bank! Not only that, but their fish is incredibly fresh. I’ve heard that they import ikura and scallops all the way from Japan, and their salmon comes straight from Norway. So, not only am I enjoying delicious sushi, but I’m also savoring the taste of freshness at an unbeatable price!
How much is a black plate at Sushi Express?
Sushi Express seems to have taken a wrong turn in their pricing strategy for conveyor belt sushi. Previously, you could enjoy any plate of sushi for a reasonable flat rate of $1.50 (excluding GST and service charge). However, things have changed, as indicated by the signage at their outlets. Now, the white plates are priced at $1.50++ while the black plates come with a slightly higher cost of $2++. It’s disheartening to see Sushi Express moving away from their affordable pricing model.
Is the tea in sushi express free?
So here’s the deal with the tea at Sushi Express: it’s not actually free, but it’s pretty darn affordable. When you order a plate of sushi or dessert from the conveyor belt, it costs $1.50++ and guess what? Along with that delicious food, you also get unlimited green tea, wasabi, and ginger. It’s like a mini buffet experience, where you can grab as many plates as you want from the belt and enjoy your meal to the fullest. Trust me, we couldn’t resist snatching those plates as if there was no tomorrow.
Is green tea free at sushi express?
Can you enjoy a complimentary cup of green tea while dining at Sushi Express? Well, apart from certain exclusive dishes such as chawamushi and miso soup that require assistance from the staff, you have the liberty to help yourself to any sushi that catches your eye on the conveyor belt. As for the green tea, you’ll find free sachets conveniently provided, and you can easily make your own refreshing cup by using the available hot water tap at the counter.
Why sushi is expensive?
Have you ever wondered why sushi tends to be on the pricier side? Let’s delve into the reasons behind the expense of this beloved Japanese delicacy. When it comes to sushi, the key ingredient is high-quality fish. It’s crucial for the fish to have exceptional taste and texture, as customers wouldn’t settle for anything less. Consequently, sourcing such premium fish, which can be consumed raw, comes at a significant cost. So, next time you indulge in sushi, remember that the price reflects the pursuit of excellence in taste and quality.
